about myself and my experience
I am Marcio, a Brazilian-born Designer based in Barcelona (Spain) and I currently work at OpenCRVS as a Product Manager / Service Design Lead.
I'm a Strategic Design professional with 20 years of experience having worked across almost all Design-related fields before getting deeper into Design Strategy, Service Design, Innovation, Product Design and User Experience.
I've led projects and teams globally to deliver and build products and services from concept to execution. I like to say I'm a specialist in "Zero to One", translating very early stage ideas into something people can look at: a new brand identity, a website, an app, a display, a service... whatever needed to transform that idea into a business.
I am passionate about facilitating workshops to align on business requirements, researching customers to uncover innovative possibilities, creating new brands and bringing new products to life. I am also an advocate for human and customer-centricity, and I've been teaching Design as a mindset when creating products and services.
Keeping humans (call them users, consumers...) as the focus of an experience is what matters to me, and I do believe Design can actually improve people's lives and make the world a better place.
